Based on the new social reality, there are many reasons to make changes in architecture and interior design, which mainly means saving space as much as possible and introducing minimalist solutions in this space. With the power of mass culture, history is burdened with pomp, space is given to such design concepts, that will be accessible and useful to all social classes, and as a result, a modern style characteristic of our era is formed in architecture and interior.
Modern style In the interior is mainly defined by simplicity, sophistication, thoughtful use of texture and clean silhouette. The interior presents not the things, but the space. To arrange the house in a modern style, you will have to consider some basic rules:

It is impossible to even imagine the full kaleidoscope of materials used in the interior of modern style. It includes almost all materials known to mankind: all kinds of plastic, glass, wood, paint, concrete elements, PVC structures, stone and metal. The main thing is that the material corresponds to the style philosophy. Nevertheless, the modern style still has its own "favorites":
● glass (especially for magazine tables and partitions);
● white glossy plastic;
● chrome, steel and aluminum;
● matte paint;
● Velvet paint.
Modern style is not "afraid" of bold colors. The range is as wide as the range of materials. Just keep in mind that bright, bold colors (primary colors) are used for accents, zoning effects, or creating focal points. However, bright colors are recommended to dilute the general atmosphere and neutralize the monotony.
The essence of modern style is functional coziness, and its entire philosophy can be summed up in the most compact way by the designer Jonathan Ive: "A beautiful thing that doesn't work well, is ugly!"
Modern style in the interior is a rather capacious concept, which includes the entire spectrum of the most current artistic currents of residential and public space design. These trends change with the era and are reflected in interior planning, color scheme and stylistic solutions.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Modern and Art Nouveau were considered relevant, as for today , these styles are useful for inspiration: Scandinavian minimalism, techno, high-tech, loft, fusion and eco.
